"Fire"

The Progression & Completion of my Fire Mask

1. covered my mom's face in aluminum foil so i could create a paper mache mask.

2. paper mache dries overnight.

3. Nora & I spray painted the mask a nice sandy tan color & applied straw hay facial hair.

4. the mask begins to develop a real organic, earthy look with a forehead covered in branches & tree bark.

5. contemplated using straw covered aluminum foil flames as the hair....

6. but then changed my mind when i found this beard at party city.

7. the final product.

8. close-up of the match nose, flame beard, and beautiful cigar.

9. close-up of the flame eyelashes, match eyeliner, and candle eyes.
