some lessons are just harder to learn.

Oops...I Did It Again.

But this time I had a little help from my friends.

~Nora kept us entertained with her awesome stories.

~Jiji provided comic relief mostly in the form of making fun of me.

~And Lily did the dirty work!

For 90+ minutes Lily slaved away on my hair with the precision of a dedicated surgeon.

After 2am it was clear that 85% of my hair had progressed from the "pumpkin" stage to "banana peel yellow". Perhaps if it had been earlier in the evening we would've kept it on longer so as to achieve "the inside of a banana peel" color.

Once I got back to the compound I immediately dyed my hair a light brown auburn color. In a few weeks when I feel like my hair can take it I will dye it a little darker.
